Thank you for your interest in the Counselor in Training (CIT) program. We are looking for mature, responsible young people who are willing to learn and grow in faith while developing their own skills as future servants and leaders. The CIT program offers you an opportunity to learn from and work with our summer staff. You will also have a chance to work with and learn from other teens with similar interests.
The CIT program is designed to train and develop your service and leadership skills by exposing you to many facets of outdoor ministries. We will strive to nurture a sense of responsibility and develop skills that you can take to your home congregation. We will also challenge you to discover your own gifts and talents. All CITs are accepted through an application process only. The process is outlined below.
If, after studying the information below, you are interested in joining our CIT Program, please start the application process as soon as possible. This program is limited to 15 campers. Spots are filled on a first come first served basis. All CIT openings will require an interview.
We hope you will seriously consider joining us for part of your summer to learn, grow, and teach. This is an opportunity for you to experience God in a powerful way, working in and through you to love God's people. We need dedicated, flexible people to carry out our mission. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, this is the adventure for you!
If you have any questions about the CIT program or application process, please contact Allison at (701) 676-2681 or programdirector@mlgc.com
