You are invited to come to the cozy Retreat Center for a weekend of fun activities, great fellowhip and creative projects you can start and complete during the retreat. Please let your friends know about this retreat! It is open to women, men, youth, and families! We will have lots of fun door prizes this year too.
Here's the project list and brief list of supplies you will need for each:
![]()
"Teatem" Pole (pictured top left) - Bring along glass objects such as teapots, vases, cookie jars, lamp bases, tea cups, etc. Bring a tube of marine goop if you want to connect the pieces together. We will help you drill the holes in each piece with a glass drill bit. We will also provide the re-bar to slide the pieces on and secure in the ground. Some people just wire the pieces to the re-bar and don't drill the holes.
"Rustic Tuteur" (pictured right) - This will be easy! If you have branches you want to bring along...great. Otherwise we will go on a hike Saturday morning to cut our own to the length we want. We will have nail guns and twine to hold them together.
"Chairy" Ideas (pictured bottom left) - Bring a chair if you like, but you can learn to tile just about anything. Bring the window box you built last year and finish it with tile or broken dishes.
Bring an old flower pot or table and you can do the same thing. We will also have some stepping stones (at cost) for you to work with. Bring a tube of exterior multipurpose adhesive if your project will be used outdoors. Bring old dishes or buy colorful tiles at the home supply store. If you have a wooden item, have it primed. Everyone will have a chance to do some grouting. The grouting supplies will be provided.
"Do it Yourself" - Our site manager, Ken Gilbertson has agreed to join in the fun and teach us the fundamentals of a few skills no one should be without. We will learn how to wire a lamp, fix a broken toilet, and fix loose floor tiles.
Cost: $75 - includes overnight lodging in a theme room and bedding, 2 meals, and some supplies
($55 if you don't need overnight lodging). Registration is limited to 25 participants.
Register online or contact the camp to register.
