The Ofstedal Retreat Center

This multi-purpose building was built in 1967, and has been the site of year round retreats, meetings and events.  The center can sleep up to 70 in dorm style and theme rooms, and has two large shower rooms for men and women. We have three meeting rooms in addition to the gym, to accommodate many different group needs.

Lobby
The lobby is a busy place during the summer and during retreats.  It connects all parts of the center - the dining room, offices, sleeping rooms and gym with each other. The most sought after activity is the carpetball game ...a clever combination of pool and bowling!

Dining Room
Our dining room can comfortably seat over 125 and our meals are great.  It also has a fireplace and a stage area for speakers, musicians and multi-media presentations.

Ausland Lounge
The Ausland Lounge was dedicated to the honor of Gaius Ausland and his wife Shiela in July 2006.  Gaius was the first full time director of the camp. This room has a beautiful fireplace, couches, and can be set up for board meetings, classroom style or as needed by each group.  The view of Red Willow Lake from this room is stunning in every season.

The Upper Room
The Upper Room, sitting on top of the retreat center as its name implies, is a great place for youth retreat meetings, or board meetings.  It has a refrigerator, sink and can be set up to meet the needs of each group.

Gymnasium
The gymnasium is a great place for year round sports, and there are plans to add a traverse climbing wall this spring. It can be used for volley ball, basketball, dodgeball and lots of games including parachute games.
